Jack & Jill's Downhill Marathon is a fast gentle downhill course on one of Washington's most scenic trails. North Bend, WA is located just 31 miles east of Seattle. Runners are bused to Hyak from North Bend. After you pass through the Snoqualmie Tunnel, you can enjoy the next 23 miles down a gradual 2000 foot net drop down the John Wayne Trail on a hard-packed, shaded dirt/gravel road. "YES" you will be able to use your finish time to qualify for Boston or chalk up a new PR. Either way, this 26.2 mile journey is breathtakingly beautiful and sure to be a favorite.
Front Runners & Walkers San Diego began an annual informal 5K run in Balboa Park during the late 80's. Over the years our run grew and in 2007 we held our first "official" Run & Stride with Pride. With the continued support of our amazing community, this event has grown to become one of the largest Pride Runs in the United States!
A key mission of the Front Runners & Walkers San Diego Pride 5K is to raise money for our charity partners: The San Diego Center's LGBT Youth Housing Project and Pride Community Grants. In 2016 alone, our nearly 1,000 participants enable a donation of $12,000 to these important community organizations
Front Runners & Walkers is proud to have committed nearly $30,000 to our charities.
