Tour de Palm Springs is a CVSPIN-sponsored event designed to raise money for nonprofit organizations in the Coachella Valley. Each year the organizers hope to support more than 150 local charities with money raised.

New for 2016 – the Tour de Big Bear Hors Catégorie division event. A unique cycling event offered only to the fittest of the fit. A limited number of spaces will be available for the HC portion of the Tour de Big Bear. All at an altitude between 6,000 and 8,500 feet with some of the best scenery California has to offer. Competition elements include King/Queen of the Mountain, HC Points Competition and awards for podium winners. Tour de Big Bear is pleased to invite you to Southern California’s most scenic and challenging high altitude ride in Big Bear Lake. Escape the summer heat, and ride spectacular 25, 50, 70 and 100 mile stages at 7000”+ and enjoy cycling amenities that other rides can copy.

The Jim Krause Memorial Charity Bicycle Tour of Point Loma will be held Saturday morning November 8, 2014, 7:00am – 12:00pm. The ride begins and ends at Liberty Station with a staggered start of 500 riders. This is a ride, not a race; there will be no blocking of roads; riders will follow established bike routes and obey traffic laws.
Join riders of all levels and experience the best of the Southern California beaches and surf towns as you ride routes of 25, 50 or 100 (2 loops of 50 mile route) miles. And there is also a choice of 7 or 15 miles for an enjoyable ride on the San Luis River bike trail. Everything starts and finishes on the beach at the spectacular venue of the Oceanside Pier with food, music, expo shopping and fun!
