After several years now the CVC is back. Having been shut down due to construction in the area we are finally allowed to do a triathlon in the same area. However, there is still construction so the routes and venue have changed for this year at least. We will have offsite parking, shuttles and athlete drop-off zones to make life easier. The San Diego Pride 5K, presented by Front Runners & Walkers San Diego, is the most fun and wacky event of the summer. It’s a great way to kick off the LGBTQ Pride Parade with a healthy activity and being out in the community – and you’ll do some good for our charity partners while you’re at it!

We are excited to announce the 51st year running of the Crown City Classic 12K & 5K Run along the Coronado Bay!
Starting and finishing in Tidelands Park, the course showcases the scenic views of the Coronado Bridge. Also returning in 2024 is our Crown City Half Mile for kids!

​Experience the world-famous Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar Flight Line on foot at this unique opportunity where 5K participants will get the option to run or walk Miramar’s Flight Line. This is one of only two times a year we open the airfield to the public. This intimate experience will get you up close and personal with your Marines at your Air Station, and live entertainment by MCAS Miramar’s 3D MAW Band, Color Guard, and announcements made by the Installation Seargent Major.  

Check-in begins at 6:30 am, and the Flight Line 5K will begin promptly at 8:00 am. After the race, the fun continues on the Flight Line with post-race food trucks, music, static aircraft, and more. Please note that the schedule is subject to change.

All participants will receive a commemorative event t-shirt, a souvenir marine Corps Challenge Coin, and chip timing will be provided. Strollers are allowed on the course, and children 4 and under can participate for free.

If you registered by June 12th and reside in California, your race number will be mailed to you free of charge. If you registered after that date, you can pick up your race number on event morning. For groups with 25 or more participants, please email us for special registration rates!

Parking lot opens at 6:00 am. FREE PARKING for race participants, vendors, and guests is located on the Flight Line, a short walking distance from the starting line. 

Please note that only service animals are allowed on the base and at the event, and they must properly and clearly display that they are a service animal. The animal must be under the control of their owner at all times. Emotional support animals do not meet the threshold of a service animal, and it is the owner's responsibility to properly care for their service animal, especially on the hot tarmac.

The Spring Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquabike is more than just a race; it's a celebration of endurance, strength, and the vibrant triathlon community. Whether you're here to test your limits or to soak in the joy of participating, every stroke in the water, every pedal on the bike, and every step on the run is a testament to your dedication and passion.
Our courses are meticulously designed to ensure a fantastic experience for all. With a flat and scenic bike route followed by a refreshing run course, both beginners and seasoned athletes will find themselves equally challenged and invigorated.

Pedaling to Cure Pediatric Cancer.  The Tour de Saddleback includes 50, 35, and 15 mile ride options through scenic Orange County.  A portion of all proceeds from this event go directly to Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. This is not a race.  It is a rules of the road ride so participants must obey all traffic laws while on the course. The Start-Finish is at Irvine Valley College.
Registration includes entry to the 50, 35 OR 15 mile Course and Aid Stations.
