San Diego’s Most Scenic Half MarathonThe eighth annual Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon & 5K benefiting Make-A-Wish San Diego features a loop course through the heart of Mission Bay and encourages the community to “Thrive” by staying active, eating healthy, living well and giving back.

The Citrus Heritage Run is a full marathon, half marathon, 5K and 1 mile kids race on Saturday, January 7, 2017. This unique and “sweet-smelling” course winds through the historic orange groves of The California Citrus Historic State Park in Riverside, Ca.
NEW THIS YEAR is the addition of a FULL MARATHON distance! Be a part of Riverside’s inaugural marathon and enjoy 26.2 miles of sweetness!
As one of the most scenic course routes in Southern California, you will experience breathtaking views of surrounding mountain ranges and skyline as you inhale the smell of sweet citrus and orange blossoms beginning to bloom. This race is truly one-of-a-kind!
This event is a great tune up race for 2017. We offer high quality technical fabric tees in men’s and women’s sizes, finisher medals, and age group awards. Along the course you will find entertainment and several hydration stops. At the finish line, you will be greeted with post-race refreshments to include fresh orange slices, a warm cup of chili and a celebratory beer!

The Citrus Heritage Run is celebrating our 6th year anniversary. The Riverside Road Runners highly recommend this fun and scenic course as a great tune up race for 2015. Race distance includes 13.1, 5K and a 1 mile kids race for fun. All proceeds from the Citrus Heritage Run support Riverside-area student running programs and scholarships for local high school seniors.  This includes free running shoes to Arlington and Ramona High School cross-country students, financial support of the 100-Mile Club, and scholarships for graduating seniors.
